Retune procedure for Strong SRT4155

A pin number may be requested during the following procedure, it is usually “0000″ or “1234″ unless changed by the customer.

  • Turn on the box and press the Menu button on the remote

  • Use the arrow keys to select Installation and press the Slct button.

  • Use the arrow keys to select Channel Set-up and press the Slct button.

  • Use the up / down keys to select Frequency and press the Slct button to show a list of transponders.  Use the arrow keys to select the required transponder and press Slct.  If the required transponder is not listed you can add the frequency by pressing the blue key ( labeled Add on the screen ).  Enter the frequency, symbol rate and polarization manually and press the green key ( labeled Save on the screen ).  When the required transponder has been selected press the green key ( labeled Tp. Scan ).  Repeat for other required transponders.

To re-order the channel list.

  • Go back to the Main Menu as in the first diagram above.  Select Channel Organiser and press Slct.

  • To delete a channel highlight it using the arrow keys, press the yellow key ( labeled delete onscreen ), press the red key ( labeled Del One ), select Yes then press Slct. Repeat for all unwanted channels.  Press BACK to go backto the screen directly above.
  • To move channels press the red key ( labeled Sort ) ONCE. If the red key is press twice the channels will be re-ordered alphabetically with no option to undo.
  • Use the arrow keys to highlight the channel to be moved and press the yellow key ( labeled Manual onscreen ) – a tick will appear next to the channel name. Use the arrow keys to move the highlight bar to the required position and press the yellow key ( Manual ) again.  Repeat as necessary.

To re-order the Radio channel list, press the TV/RAD key and repeat the procedure above.
